Stays in Turkey are normally limited to up to 90 days in total within a rolling 180-day period. The calculator above helps you keep track. Entry and exit days count as days of stay.

Visa / visa waiver
  • Nordic citizens (NO, SE, DK, FI, IS) usually have a visa exemption for short visits (tourist/travel ) - up to 90/180. Passports must be valid for the entire period.
  • Some nationalities need an e-Visa (electronic visa) before departure; others must apply for an ordinary visa.
  • Rules for work, studies, long-term stays and multiple entry are different arrangements than tourist stays. Check official pages.
Passports and entry
  • Have a passport with sufficient validity (recommended at least 6 months upon entry).
  • You may be asked for a return ticket and documentation of means of subsistence/accommodation.
