🧭 About the caves
The Damlataş cave was discovered in 1948 by chance during the construction of the Alanya harbor.
Inside the cave, water drips slowly from the ceiling, and over thousands of years it has formed stalactites and stalagmites in amazing formations.
The name Damlataş literally means "dripstone".

🌬 Health and breathing
The cave is especially known for its beneficial air for people with asthma and respiratory problems.
The doctors' recommendation is to sit 20-30 minutes in the cave daily over 3-4 weeks for the best effect.
Several local residents use the cave regularly as a natural "therapy zone".

📸 The experience
As you enter, you will notice the silence and the warm, humid air.
The lighting accentuates the natural forms, and you can move along a small walkway that takes you through the entire cave.
Feel free to bring your camera - but watch out for condensation on the lens!
